Sharp Sand (Grit)

Sharp sand or grit from our land based quarries is a rough, graded sand with a higher percentage of larger grain sizes. It is most commonly used for laying block paving, paving, pipe bedding, making plaster and mortar, concrete, or rendering. When mixed with cement it creates a floor screed material.

Sharp Sand is available for collection Monday to Friday 7.30-12noon either loose or in bulk bags from our landscape centre opposite Marwell Zoo near Winchester.
